Dear Member-Partners and friends, Welcome to the premier issue of Goldenrule: The name of our magazine pays homage to Napoleon Hill (1883-1970), an American author and one of the earliest producers of the modern genre of personal-success literature. Early in his career Napoleon Hill edited and largely wrote several magazines. The first was Hill's Golden Rule Magazine published between 1919 and 1923. His most famous work, Think and Grow Rich, is one of the best-selling books of all time. Hill's works examined the power of personal beliefs, and the role they play in personal success. As does LEAGUE's "golden rule" philosophy. As an extension of League's 'voice', the Goldenrule magazine reflects not only Mr. Hill's philosophy, but our commitment to participate in our Member-Partners' success. As the first tenet of Our Credo states: "We believe in the primacy of the 'Golden Rule' and will adhere to it in all of our pursuits. In all our intentions and activities we will espouse this tenet: We will do unto others as we would have them do for us." We hope you enjoy Goldenrule and participate in our reader survey so that evolves and expands.
